How to Vote in Warrenville on November 3: Early Voting, Mail Ballots, and Election Day
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, and good news for anyone in town: you do not have to wait in a Tuesday-evening line if you would rather not. One of the county's early voting sites is right here in Warrenville. Here is a plain-English guide to your options, built from the DuPage County election pages. Details can change, so confirm before you go.
Vote early, right in town
From Monday, October 19 through Election Day, DuPage County runs permanent early voting sites, and the county's early voting page lists the Warrenville Park District at 3S260 Warren Ave. Weekday hours at these sites are 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and weekend hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Nearby backups include the West Chicago Voting Center, the Naperville Municipal Center, and the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton. Check the county page for the latest hours before you head out.
Voting by mail
Any registered DuPage voter can vote by mail. According to the county's vote by mail page, a voted ballot must be postmarked no later than Election Day to count. The county also notes a cutoff for mailing ballots out to voters in the final week, so if you have not asked for one yet, do not wait. Questions about drop boxes or your application? Call the Election Division at 630-407-5600.
Election Day
Polls in Illinois are open from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Election Day. Your assigned polling place can differ from the early voting site, so look yours up through the DuPage County election and voter information page before you go.
Not sure you are registered?
Illinois allows same-day registration at early voting sites and on Election Day. Bring two forms of ID or proof of residency, with at least one showing your current address (a driver's license, lease, or utility bill are common choices). Moved recently? Updating your registration first will save you time at the counter.
Good to know
