Two very different ways to end the month at the library. Parents can pick up real techniques at Style Your Kid's Hair from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Then the Books on Tap Book Club meets at Rock Bottom at 7:00 PM with a mixed media theme. Adults only, and finishing the book is optional.
Wednesday, September 2
The summer concert season gets one more night. Concerts on the Commons brings Sushi Roll to Bob Walters Commons from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, so pack a lawn chair and enjoy the evening. If you would rather plan next spring's garden, Native Plants in the Home Landscape runs 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the library.
Friday, September 4
Start the holiday weekend early with a free Movie Matinee at the library: Project Hail Mary screens from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. Bring a friend and settle in.
Saturday, September 5
New to tabletop gaming or just curious? Adult Dungeons and Dragons: Saturday Sessions at the library runs 1:30 to 3:30 PM and is built for newer players. Characters and dice provided, no experience needed.
Heads up for Labor Day
Monday, September 7 is Labor Day, and City offices and the police lobby will be closed. Plan any City Hall errands around it.
Looking ahead
Circle the weekend of September 12 and 13: Art on the Prairie returns with local artists, live music, and a full two days of browsing. It is one of the best weekends of the Warrenville fall, and we will have more on it next week.
