Monday, September 21
The week opens at the library with Nature-Telling with Lincoln Marsh at 10:00 AM, a short, free program where naturalists bring stories and real nature objects for preschoolers. In the evening, the City Council meets at City Hall at 6:30 PM, and the Warrenville Writers Connection gathers at the library at 7:00 PM for anyone with pages to share or just an interest in listening.
Tuesday, September 22
Tuesday evening is for slowing down. Sound Bowl Meditation at the library runs 6:30 to 7:30 PM for adults; bring a mat or blanket if you would like to lie down. Over at City Hall, the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners meets at 7:00 PM.

If you would rather keep an eye on what is being built around town, the Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals meets at City Hall at 7:00 PM.
Friday, September 25
The Halloween Costume Exchange kicks off at the library from 4:00 to 6:30 PM. Drop off a costume your kid has outgrown and pick out a different one; Friday is early access for donors. The Park District's Fall Frenzy Softball Tournament also gets underway and continues Saturday, and the library has a grab-and-go Hispanic Heritage craft kit (Cuban-style maracas) available all day while supplies last.
Saturday, September 26
Saturday is the big family morning.
